So pleased to be sharing Kara and Bobby’s Westin Grand Cayman Wedding Film with you today.
Kara has celebrated her 1st birthday in Grand Cayman and been back with her family visiting her grandparents ever since. Celebrating her wedding to Bobby there has been very special to her.
Bobby and Kara met in college and were just friends. They kept in touch occasionally. But Before being deployed for a year with the Army, Bobby was sent to Boston where Kara was studying optometry. She planned a fun weekend but unfortunately ended up in the hospital with kidney stones. He spent his last weekend in the States taking care of her and has done so ever since!
When I ask Kara how Bobby proposed, she replied: “We were vacationing in Naples Florida with my sister and brother-in-law. I thought that it was MY idea to wake up for the sunrise for champagne and a beach walk but apparently it had been planned for weeks! We went to the beach and he brought me down to the water and got down on one knee. We celebrated the whole rest of the week!”
